I Love Black and White Photography

I did not take this.

But I do appreciate how black and white photography can actually enhance a view.

Beautiful!

I am guessing that is a fairly long exposure - like a minute or two. The clouds have moved enough to blur, and whatever ripple or chop on the lake has evened out to a uniform texture, but the shadows from the pilings haven't had time to move much.

Indeed. That is beautiful, and very dramatic. I love b&w portraits, too, because they often hide flaws.
