I Love Photography

I submitted ten photos to ShutterStock. They were all rejected. I expected it. Although the photos are beautiful, they were taken with a smartphone. It's hard to take high-quality photos with a phone. I'm going to get a digital SLR camera in a few months. There's a kit that I have my eyes on. I wish I had it now, but money is short... much like my patience. 😔
Good luck on your journey into photography! I totally understand what you mean about it being hard to get good results from a phone. Some of my favorite photos have been taken with a phone because that's the only camera I had with me at that moment. Unfortunately the image quality such that I can't do much with them. :(
You'll get that DSLR soon and you'll love the immediate difference you see in your photos. In the mean time study photography. Explore and study the work of successful photographers. Examine the elements that makes those images sucessful. Also keep in mind there is a bit of a learning curve to using a DSLR well if you don't have experience with one. Learning to use it out of green auto will help you to take advantage of the camera's full potential and capabilities. Start looking into that now so you can hit the ground running when you get your new camera. And once again, good luck!
JonnyBoy, no problem. I hope it helps. Most of that was shared with me, so I'm just trying to pay it forward.
I know the feeling. I'm glad I got my cameras before my budget got limited. Good luck!

Don't get discouraged, it's only a technical thing to overcome.
