Has Anyone Built a Business Using Remote Models?

Is anyone here running a business where models take the photos themselves and send them to you for commercial licensing or sale?

I'm thinking about building something similar and would love to hear real experiences. What works, what doesn't, and what legal or practical issues should I expect?

@wildbill83 That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. I'm interested in commercial photography for advertising, e-commerce and stock licensing, not adult content. I'm curious if anyone has experience with that side of the business.
