Reminds me of a ConTiki tour....when I was young. I wish I could revisit....

@KiwiBird This was entirely self organized, but mind you, I live roughly 3h away from there, so it was feasible. I'd also go with a pre-planned tour if I went abroad.

The hotel was just 5m on foot from the cathedral, and we paid something as little as €30/person/night; we've left the car on a big parking lot near the highway connected to the city via tram, and spent €18.50 (parking + tram tickets) and less than €30 in fuel, all to be divided by 3.

The biggest expense was the museums, but absolutely worth it. (:
