Hiking on the top of the Ridge

It was very beautiful, the sky was clear and two shades of blue. I walked with my eyes pointed up with my binoculars, looking at all the holes that animals had made in the trees and it made me think about how important it is to value life. Even if the tree looked like it was dying, it was still providing a home for so many creatures. The fallen trees created benches on hill tops that were bouncy that brought the kid out of me.
