are selfies, innocuous or just stems of ego, see me.... see me here now

It’s ego. I’m trying to level with my ego these days and when I find myself taking a bunch of pictures I kinda get nauseous. I realize I just want people to see me but only how I want to be seen. Only in the best possible way. Then it all feels like I lie and delete them.

I take a few if I’m sharing photos with someone or to be silly, but don’t find value in much anymore. You can look great in one picture and look like a psycho fat ass in another but you’re still the same person. But I do like people to see my face and I like seeing others faces also.

I think the odd one here and there are fine, as are those with a purpose other than the ego thing; but yeah, repeated selfies are people seeking out recognition.

Stems from ego and validation

They are for sure ego and vanity. Look at me, flatter me. Not one of man kinds better obsessions.

If I want to share a photo I have to take it of myself. I don't have a photography entourage lol
