@AthrillatheHunt l spent 2 years on the goldie lm not good enough to surf the superbank though. How long have ypu been surfing and where?

@Ferise1 I evolved from a dick dragger (sponger) to a stand up surfer in 1986 in New Jersey .
Now I surf Rockaway NY end of April till end of November .
Closest I’ve surfed to Oz is Bali.

@AthrillatheHunt wow you’ve surfed a long time. I live in Switzerland so l surfed france spain(mundaka) and portugal a few times. Otherwise l spent some years in Australia. Best surf by far. South straddie and duranbah were my favourite.

@Ferise1 dbah is just over the state line right ? South straddle looks real cool too. But I’m old fat and lazy now. Can’t paddle battle any more. Lol
I’d love to surf Byron bay too.
I snowboarded in canton vaud from 1988-1992.
Mundaka is world class dude . I’ve never surfed Europe except the canaries .
It’s my fountain of youth for sure .

@AthrillatheHunt dbah is on the other side of the coolangatta hill, it’s got a great beach break. Straddie has a pipe pumping sand all day long, so it doubles or triples the swell there’s perfect a-frames.
Bryon bay is magic. Im too old too l get it lol
I snowboarded the valais for years. Great fun.
I didn’t actually catch a wave in mundaka l was inexperienced.

@AthrillatheHunt l don’t remember the rainy season. I left in 2004 haven’t been back.

@AthrillatheHunt Switzerland l guess. I stayed because l got married but otherwise l’d probably be back in oz.
