I Am Teaching Myself Photography

Ok, piece of self indulgence cos, well, I'm a girl, I'm vain and this is a passive/aggressive? way to get people to boost my ego 😁

And yeah, I know there's wrinkles, and well, a bit of pudge...

But I'm the deluxe comfort version of my youth - get over it 😜

And my excuse for this unnecessary show of flesh ... is.... "it's artistic" 😫😏
It could be worse, I could be vomiting spaghetti onto a canvass amd selling it to ignorant yuppies!

So... Here we go.

It's a lovely shot, nice contrasts. You do well with light. 😁 And really you have nothing to be ashamed of there. 😌

@UndeadPrivateer Totally agree. Good observation.
@UndeadPrivateer oh, I'm not ashamed of my wrinkles... It's just I'm am artist, and so the image doesn't live to my ideals.

But then, life isnt perfect, and this is where trying to find beauty in the imperfect comes in.

@BoobooSnafu I think they add to it, but I also see bodies as works of art in themselves. Our bodies tell the stories of the lives we've lived. Not a single thing wrong with that, wearing it proudly is to be admired. 😌

We're all imperfect, and as this shot highlights well you have plenty of beauty. 🤗
@UndeadPrivateer I love the human form... It's an amazing aesthetic group of curves amd angles and textures.

Nothing else in nature quite like it.
