What about is the elevation that you hike in Appalachian Mountains?
I never really thought about if I like hiking. I only do short day trips though, nothing overnight.

I love hiking, but my schedule no longer permits long hikes. So, I am fortunate that this spot is fairly close to where I live and is a day hike. This spot is fairly low elevation---between 1500 and 2000 feet. The Appalachian Trail has many low-elevation sections that are plenty fun and scenic.
