Can cats hiccup from eating too fast?

Just wondering. My kitty Jackie does this weird coughing thing that almost looks like she's choking but her ABCs are fine and she never brings anything up. Any ideas what this could be? Should I seek a vet?

I'd guess it's just a hair ball, but small enough of one so that once she clears her throat she's fine.
