What do I do to the rat once I've caught it 🤔😧😱

There is a rat in my garden that never leaves. I've set a trap (not one that kills) but I have no idea what to do with it once I've caught it? I don't wanna kill it but I don't want it living in my garden 😩

Rats (well...rodents in general) can carry a variety of diseases, so I'd be careful
