Thank you I asked a friend who owns these breeds and she said white rice chicken and carrots will get him eating and put his stool back to normal

Thank you he's starting to get better slowly he's using the bathroom better it's starting to form like it should be tomorrow he sees the vet

Could be a lot of things, but the fat in the food is not causing this. Assuming you recently got him, stress from a new home and change in food can cause this. Could be parasites, but odds are the shelter has already dewormed him. As long as he is acting himself I would keep doing what you are doing until you can get him to your vet.
