@Thodsis It’s recommended, if you can.Cats, too. Keeps them from losing their teeth, like people.

I'd like to add the information that my lovely dog lived for fifteen years without a toothbrush.
She was taken for walks and she chewed sticks.
Not once did the local vet recommend anything regarding her teeth.
