Sad poetry...All my Animals

I have a place beneath the sky.
A place to think and sometimes cry.

A piece of earth where memories dwell,
and only love and heaven tell.

As I walk by it brings to mind,
another place another time.

Each one was laid side by side,
with stones in place when they have died.

I say a prayer for each one there.
And pray to God they know I care.

Through many months and many years,
another stone another tear.

I ask myself " is this the price
that I will give and sacrifice?"

Each time I dig another hole,
another life has ripped my soul.

In my heart and in my mind ,
I know we'll meet again in time.
