Are Women Better At Having Dogs As Pets?

I am not a dog person (definetely not a cat person) but have used dogs for retrieving birds in hunting with my dad or grandad. They only used dogs for hunting also and I was raised that way. Do you think women are made for having dogs as pets and do they relate to women better? I was raised to believe that.
