What’s your least favourite thing your pet does?
For me it has to be when my cat eats and knocks over the house plants.

I've had many cats, but never one which has torn up my leather furniture like one of the ones I have now. I've tried everything to get him to use scratching posts, and I have scratching pads around the house. I've tried the sprays, and they don't work. But I won't declaw him. That's mutilation, and it's cruel.
After he dies, I'll have to get new furniture.

@PhoenixPhail I e got a cat who thinks my couch is his secret scratching post. I’m getting him pretty paws, nail covers. I hear it will help.

@PhoenixPhail ooh I have one like that too. He makes dead on eye contact and reaches one paw up for a single 'I'm just stretching or something' 1-2 claw contact scratch then lower his foot. Does it ALL THE TIME. How is that not on purpose to spite me?

@nonsensiclesnail I would have tried that earlier. But now, it would be closing the barn door after the horses have escaped.

@PhoenixPhail I totally get that. I’m doing this with the my sons cat because I’m tired of it’s shenanigans. He scratches the couch only when no one is around and there is still so much couch to save.
