Oh Now That Damn Squirrel Is Starting On Me And I Am Just Sitting In My chair

Minding my own business. He is holding a grudge since I painted the shed last week

It's gone beyond the paint by now.

You have become the object of annoyance to him. The paint, he has long forgotten!

You are the symbol of everything bad in his world. 😆😈

He was just tolerating you before then.

The perspective of animals is fascinating! 😁

@DeWayfarer The only time I ever heard another squirrel fuss that bad and that long was when one at the university climbed up to the top of a tree and got swarmed by bees

@cherokeepatti it could be anything. Actually a whole combination of little things each added to what he considers bad.

Say you had a dog that chased him, or you left out a goody that he liked once and never left it again. Each incident added to the symbol of what he considers bad.

So now no more tolerance, you are the badness in his life. The paint only added to the symbol even if he can't remember why.

Maybe I should fill up the bird feeders with sunflower seeds and sprinkle them with cayenne pepper to give him a good reason to hate me

@MaryJanine Nope doesn’t bother birds at all, they can eat hot peppers. Nothing poison in cayenne and I wouldn’t count on squirrels staying away because I don’t feed them, they are always around here

@cherokeepatti No, I didn't say you did. They climb, jump, and steal out of the birds' feeders - at least they do over here. You see it anywhere you go. If they find a food source, it's LUNCHTIME!!

@MaryJanine they are wild, they can hunt their own food. I have dewormed chickens with dry crumbled up cayenne peppers in their food. It would be healthy for wild birds too because they get parasites
