Do your pets let you take an afternoon nap?
I tried but these birds wouldn’t be quiet. So I got up & did laundry, ran the dishwasher & washed pans, etc. Maybe I’ll keep them awake tonight to show them how it feels.

My aunt used to cover the cage over with blackout fabric to trick them into thinking it was night time. They'd squeak for a bit then calm down
