What do you do for itchy dogs?

Because of covid I can’t get him in to the vet. I’ve trued olive oil, coconut oil, skin and coat food, oatmeal baths, milk baths..... it’s not red and he’s not loosing fur but he’s so itchy. Also he’s a service dog so what do you use for pet gas 😂🙃

I give mine fish oil for her itching. I also give her cider vinegar added to her water for her gastritis. She is large and I can give her up to one tablespoon of cider vinegar. I have found a full tablespoon is too much (causes gas) so 2 teaspoons is what works best for her.

[@He’s 70 pounds do you just give yours like one capsule of like the people supplement a day or how do you do it

@Soramarie It's the people supplement that I get with the other supplements at the grocery store. She likes it and takes it like a treat. If yours doesn't you can pierce it and squeeze it over their food. The vinegar I add to the water. Start with one teaspoon to get them acclimated to it. When I increased it, I watched her and also pet her belly. I could feel rumbling when I had given her the full tablespoon so I reduced it and has been on two teaspoons since.

do you give a single pill of fish oil a day?

@Soramarie 3 times a week I give her 2 of them, the other days I give her one. Her itching was severe. I watched her stools. They say if it is too much their stool will be loose. With this schedule I have found it is the best for her.
