Why am I so nervous?

I am kinda nervous but excited at the same time to foster a cat. I am just nervous I think because I will be caring for another species other than myself kina like a baby and that makes me super nervous because I want to be a good mother to the cat but I am scared haha but excited too because I get to call another species mine. :)

My dad adopted a dog that was picked up off of dead dog beach in Puerto Rico. Before he got him the dog had been fostered. My dad says they did a great job. While he had a lifetime of experience with dogs and expected problems there were none. He credits the foster family and said that someone with less experience might give up if the dog had problems. So fostering was important.
It's an awesome responsibility but you will make a huge difference.

@curiosi Yea, for me even fostering a cat will be ideal because for me at this moment because I want to make sure I give him or her the best possible home and never had an animal before so I don't want to rush into things.
