Should I get both a dog and cat?

I want a cat so badly, but also I want a very active animal who I can walk and play with.

I have both and they get along well. Each pet has their own advantages and both are easy to love.

Depends on the dog and the cat. I had success with my pair but I have heard others that really had to work with it.@ShaythePanTransMan

@ShaythePanTransMan Yes the dog can be trained. Even the (much smaller) cat did it.
