Some people are so ridiculous.
When I was giving away kittens, a woman actually passed on one of the kittens because I called him Trump Kitty. She physically recoiled from the cat.🙀😂😹

@bijouxbroussard People name pets after easily recognizable people all the time. I also have a female cat that we call Melania because she is a very beautiful cat.

@JimminyChristmas True. When I was first looking to adopt a cat one of the shelter workers showed me a black and white cat with a little mustache and told me cheerfully, “I call him Hitler !” The name was recognizable, yes.
I understood why too, although I might’ve gone with “Charlie Chaplin”. It still made me uncomfortable enough to leave.

@JimminyChristmas Some things aren’t that funny. There are plenty of people who would’ve adopted it and kept the name, just as I’m sure someone would name their cat “Trump”. It just wouldn’t ever be me.
