Is your dog/cat allowed to enter your house?

Yesterday I saw several people shaming a woman who said that her dogs are not allowed to enter her house. Your thoughts?

Inside dogs, though one really wouldn't mind being outside all the time. I mean, in harsh weather conditions, dogs really shouldn't be outside, imo. It's kind of a pain to clean up after them, especially after a rainy day, but how're you gonna let man's best friend freeze and swelter?
