Gross question

My cat just caught a wild bird should I feed it to my boa constrictor who usually eats jumbo rats? Just to change up her diet a bit? The bird is already dead either my cat eats it or the snake does what do you think?

Don’t snakes prefer live animals that it strangles for itself. It might not accept something already dead.

I thought it would be natures way of telling the predator that the food is okay to eat.
