Advise for kitten training?

We've run into a few problems and dont know how to approach them. First of all he generally uses his litterbox but somehow feels the need to piss on blankets and cushions, yes he is fixed, so I don't think he's marking his territory.

Next thing is hes super wild all the time, but at night its problem because he attacks feet and faces when we sleep. Is it a bad idea to lock him in another room for the night?

And thirdly, when we say no or stop he usually will stop whatever bad thing hes doing but will attempt it again just a minute or two later.

Have you had animals before? Did the previous owners have animals?

Even getting a pet fixed won't remove all of their instincts. There are many reasons to avoid the litterbox, but competition, marking, and territorial behavior are the main culprits. Those blankets are HIS.

As for being wild, that could just be a kitten phase. Cats have a personality same as people, so maybe he's understimulated. Get a cheap (or build, if you're into it) cat tower, toys, and entertainment.

Cats are pricks sometimes. They know better, but they enjoy tormenting you. I have two myself...

Try changing the type of little being used and scoop his box daily. He might not like the litter. Also try toys and play with him to divert him from attacking your feet and get him exhausted.
