What do baby doves eat?

Doves eat seeds and insects. Cake and biscuits may hurt his tummy.

Use the rubber end of an eye dropper and fill with chicken baby food formula or hard boiled egg mixed with a little water. Let the baby stick his bill into the rubber end and he will eat that way.

Go to a bird vet and get some 'bird barf' feed. You mix it with water and use a syringe to squirt it down the birds' throat. Done it many times. Takes patience.

doves prefer flax seeds, presumably this gets half processed by the parent and regurgitated so um crush it with a little water and offer from a dropper, bonus points if you use a bird like puppet with the dropper coming out of the throat
