How would you react if your recently feral cat brought a live mouse, to teach her kittens to hunt, and released it in the living room?

She didn't release it right away, she kept her foot on it so she could call the kittens. When a few were watching, she picked up her foot. Cats are amazingly fast!!! What would you do?

Karl the Norwegian Forest Cat, who once owned a dear friend of mine, brought her a possum from out back as a “gift”. Alas, a possum’s m.o. is to feign death in the hopes that predators will leave it alone. So upon being brought in the house it jumped up and hid under the sofa. Karl was not as successful in retrieving it and my friend’s brother had to chase it back out with a broom. 😳
