I have some people that are trying to persuade me that I should have my dog put down. But he is on pain meds and slowly drifting away. I feel that this is better for him to adjust to the spirit world. What do you think?

@purplepen He keeps an eye on me and wants me nearby. My issue is that I feel I would be taking his life away when he could have some time adjusting to the spirit world. I feel strongly that most people are allowed to have that process with dying, and to deny my dog that when I feel I know better - that would be wrong of me. thank you, it has become a very difficult decision.

@76May My feeling is to let the doggy pass naturally but make sure he's as comfortable as possible.
