If you found out a Megalodon (ancient giant shark) had escaped extinction...

and it was found in the depths of the ocean, would you be surprised?
Are you one those people who think there are many things left to be discovered or not?

I read once where we haven't even begun to know what is deep within the ocean.

I would be as that's the type of animal that would be spotted and that we would see evidence for it's continued existence. You'd see whales with massive bites taken out of them, etc. And megalodon wasn't a deep sea creature so it's not lurking in the depths.

@deadgerbil Needs must! 😂

@deadgerbil Let's suspend disbelief and ignore facts, okay?
A huge ass shark existing would be mega cool. 😎

@PavlovsPuppy 😹 it would be lol
Quizzical · 46-50, M
That would be cool, though unfortunately unlikely...

That said. The Colossal Squid had been the subject of myth for centuries until complete evidence was finally found late last Century.

So you never know what is lurking down there 😯

It wouldn't surprise me. We've got more cameras pointed at space than we do at the depths of the ocean.

@SW-User Wow, I didn't know that!
It could still exist somehow though. Maybe it likes staying and hunting in the depths?
Who knows? 🤷‍♀️

@SW-User Oh yes, I'm shrinkly like a dried up old prune. 😄
SW-User
Oh I'm sure there's all kinds of life down there in the deep we've never seen before.
We know more about space than we do about the oceans on earth.
SW-User
Wouldn't really surprise me. The oceans are so massive and deep.

Yea. I be like hello ok next
SW-User
If it did survive it has probably choked to death on some plastic
PavlovsPuppy · 100+, F
@SW-User Sadly, that's probably true.
