@Gangstress Gooseneck barnacles. Weird looking things, aren't they?

@Gangstress Some barnacles are edible, not sure about these ones. Some of them are also quite toxic, due to the minerals they consume. Depends on the barnacle. I know some goosenecks are edible, the part you eat is down near the base. Upon closer inspection, this does look like it might be a farming rig for them. They're quite neatly lined up.

@UndeadPrivateer that's a good point. Very interesting though as weird as they are.

@Gangstress Barnacles are weird. Crustaceans in general are pretty weird. :P

Randomly my cat just uncovered a slow worm. Basically a small lizardy Snake. They're so cute lol

@Gangstress Ah! I know those. Maverick and Volos have scared off/slaughtered most of the lizards around here. 😅 Only the clever and quick ones remain, the yard used to be kind of overrun with them.

@Gangstress Those two are little hunters. Volos was just incessantly bugging me and being super sweet to get me to let him outside just before the sun comes up, so he can hunt. :P
