It cornered its wounded prey and waited for it to make the first move before the final pounce. Then it waited for it to die before flying away with it. Very patient!

@ImKelsey I had just adopted her and she was afraid to go out at night alone although she couldn't hold her bladder all night. We both went out and out of the corner of my eye I saw an owl on the fence. Next thing it's right there trying to grab her. She has white and brown spots, I figure the owl saw the white spots and didn't realize her size.
