@MiraRoss I don't know enough about the particular horse nor its training in order to pass judgement. However, wacking a 1,000lb animal in the ass with a 3 inch piece of leather doesn't rise to the level of animal abuse imo.

@BrewCityBarfly it forces the horse to run fast one or two is enough for the horse to get the hint surely

@MiraRoss Some horses don't need any, others need encouragement, and sometimes it's just a jockey being a little over aggressive. For the record, I'm not much of a fan of any animal profiteering ventures.
