"Hey! Now that you can understand me, I expect you to scratch me, pet me, rub me, water me, feed me, let me out, take me somewhere when I tell you! No more guessing, though I _do_ have to say you got pretty good at interpreting my vocalizations and moves...now can I have a treat?"

@SomeMichGuy Sweet man ☺
@WildHeart lol all have been rescues, several developed various problems, and diagnoses, procedures & surgeries at Mich State University's "Veterinary Teaching Hospital", or the same place rebranded as the "Veterinary Medical Center", or at a local animal hospital...and meds...and taking care of the needs of dogs declining and dying

they are angels sent to show us how to be, and losing them is sooooooo hard and crushing precisely because, of all the beings we interact with closely, how can they deserve death...?

@SomeMichGuy Wow! I'm just so amazed as we are in the same field of work. I'm sure you will agree, that saving animals is not just a job but a passion that we live for.
@WildHeart when you see animals which are being put on the execution block through no fault of their own, or who were bred by idiots thinking that they would make huge profits with no work (including Amish puppy mills!), or people mistreating them in all manner of ways...if you cannot see their anguish, their pain & sorrow...then you have no compassion, no milk of human kindness.

I am compelled to help. I wish that I could change the hearts & minds of people and save all animals from abuse...

@SomeMichGuy This is the fight I face daily, we are the voice for these animals and I will continue to fight for their justice until I take my last breath. Thank you for the amazing job you do.
@WildHeart ...well, thanks, but I am just an ordinary person helping a few directly and donating to help many more nationally & internationally.
