Why isn’t the feral cat I feed not too hungry lately?

He’s hanging out with a B & W cat, when he comes to the door to beg he sits back and wants the other cat to eat. I believe these two are sharing their meals. Hoping the gray cat finds a new food source...

if you put food out every cat will find it's way to you. I now have 8 that I feed. have had them all fixed and checked by the vet and will trap and spay or neuter any new one that shows up

@dentope3 I usually watch the cat eat unless it’s too cold to be outside. I sat in a chair after I gave him sardines (a favorite that I only give him about once a week), he would eat a bite, look back at the other cat that I made stay back...eat another bite, then after eating half he left with the other cat...if I wasn’t going to let his friend eat he decided to leave. Yesterday was gone all day and came home about 4, he was sitting in the flower bed sunning himself but didn’t beg or anything like he usually does. Someone must have fed him good.
