What do you do when you have a pet you didn't want?

I love animals but I didnt want this one. We can barely take care of the ones we already have. I said I dont want another cat because I dont have the time to take care of it and we can't afford it. Then husband comes home after picking up his daughter and in her arms is a tiny kitten. She goes to school all day and plays sports. I won't let an animal be neglected so guess who takes care of it now? Me. I'd adpot it out but the youngest is totally attached to it now. She would take care of it but her sister only wants it to be hers even though she doesn't take care of it or play with it.

@CM440 i have. She was brought home at only 4 weeks old. I couldnt believe it. I'm stretched too thin right now and the last thing i needed was another animal to take care of.

@CM440 that makes want to cry. Its not fair. I get attached to animals and cant watch it get neglected so i take care of it. I feel used. They know its their responsibility to take care of it but they dont because they know i will.
