Do you empathize with this bear?

Years ago when I was desperately in need of solitude and serenity, I used to tether an inner tube to a tree along a secluded stretch of a creek and sneak out there with a book, drifting gently in the inner tube ... and I know exactly how that bear feels.

It doesn't need my empathy. It's much smarter than most people who post videos online. It also knows where the edge is.
