You love cats?

Any one else love pulling their kitten by their scruff on the back of their necks? I have a high strung kitten, he's ten months old, I let him mostly away with anything but I also know I can just hold his back skin on his neck (gently) and persuade him to not act out. He calms right down without a question.

When mama cat speaks, kittens listen.

@Mamapolo2016 Yes, and I'm being mama... :) He was given to me when he was 4 months old, and he was given to those I received him by at an age too young. His eyes were still blue. (He would look very sweet with blue eyes) My ginger male cat is helping in parenting. Mosby, the older cat, is very gentle and sweet but his 25 pounds (mostly build) I imagine is daunting to a hyper active 9lb black cat
I imagine. Just don't pick him up by the scruff or use it as a carry handle. They say that can injure the kitten.@SW-User

@Mamapolo2016 I only ever use it when he is misbehaving. I've had him now 6 months, it's happened maybe twice where I have? I know he missed a little learning from his mama, and it is taking months to make up for that. I don't mind, I actually like it as he is a ball of rebellious sweet and kind fun.
They are real smile-makers, kittens.@SW-User

@Mamapolo2016 Yes, and no worries about me carrying on loving him. He is my seventh cat? A part of me wishes I could just say, Cleo these are just growing pains and you are doing wonderfully. I give him the support I think he knows... You can't ask cats though... you must just go by how happy they are (a lot of that comes from how they rub against you)
