Are we considered aliens to animals?

Like sea creatures. We come down out of nowhere, shine bright lights everywhere, and casually steal a couple of the inhabitants to do experiments.

No because we are from the same planet.
Some know we are not the same species and others such as cats apparently just see us as giant clumsy cats
