How do you name your pets?

I had a Blue Heeler, Bluedog.🤗 Best friggin' dog to ever place paws on the planet! And my tortoise colored cat, named Turtle.

Pippin I named after the movie Jaws!
A boy on the beach calling for Pippin.
And boo cat. I was just snuggling her as a kitten when I first got her and I kept saying she was a cute boo!
It went from there!
