Why is animal cruelty get so much hate?

Pherick · 41-45, M
Because animals are inherently good, like children in that respect. Sure animals kills, but its only for their food, they aren't evil. Then when we hurt them, its purely for anger issues, there is no reason to do so otherwise.

It just makes for a vicious purely human evil act.

@Pherick which makes animals better than humans.

Because animal cruelty absolutely and 100% leads to harming humans.

Harm an animal without cause and you should be drowned like a puppy.
SW-User
Something is wrong with that sentence

Because most human beings have empathy for other living beings and that extends to animals. We have dominion over all the creatures of the earth.

Anyone who hurts animals hurts us all. I have no real words for this, just a feeling of unease, disgust and anger.
Because hurting / being cruel to Animals is wrong and a wrong thing to do. But like with Anything at least in this world, this side of heaven. There is always going to be those pockets of people and like mind people individuals. That think Animal cruelty is okay, Abusing your kid and kid's / Husband / Girlfriend / Wife is okay, etc... But evil is evil

Because they can't raise voice against the cruelty against them.

Similar to why child abuse does. When a vulnerable person or thing( animal) is hurt by another more able or smart person it stirs up protection in many people. Myself included. Even those that do eat animals don’t condone them being abused, suffering being in fear & pain etc
xixgun · M
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit Anyone harming something smaller and weaker than itself just because it can, is an example of a sociopath and should be removed from the gene pool.

I think we are generally getting more empathetic as a society. And we've become a nation of pet owners with emphasis on being responsible with your pet, spaying and neutering, not leaving outside in the heat and cold, etc. This has translated to empathy for the animals we eat and use to test. Social Media has accelerated this.
SW-User
I don't know. I honestly never really cared much for animals outside of pets.

I mean, like cows, chicken, pigs, etc I eat them regardless.
DevilFox · 26-30, T
@SW-User what about cruelty to pets?
SW-User
@DevilFox I have family in Asia and how I define cruelty is a bit different.

Of course I hate it when people abuse pets but I give no mind to a stray dog, cat, etc. I won't feed them.
Because there is no reason to be cruel. Animals don’t deserve that. Domestic animals generally have no animosity towards humans unless they’ve already been mistreated and usually only want to do what we ask of them. Even with the animals used as food sources, that can be done humanely, without making their deaths extraordinarily painful.
If you dont hate animal cruelty then something is wrong with you.. Very wrong
SW-User
Are you really serious?
