Should I be worried?

My wife has stage-4 cancer, and our cat has started sitting by the bed when she's laying down. He's never done this before, and now she's worried that he might know something is going to happen soon. Can animals really know if something is going to happen? Should I be worried?

So sorry your wife has cancer. Cats and dogs sense of smell is much more keen than humans.
