I Love Dogs And Animals

I've always been that kinda gal that was attracted to animals, and them to me often enough. I love my furry friends. I don't care about species, breed or age, as long as they're nice to me, we can be friends.

I remember this one time when I met this really sweet little dog. I was headed out to the mailbox when I see this sweet looking older lady and her equally sweet and old dog. The dog, a white fluff of a thing hardly bigger than my largest cat, took one look at me when she caught my scent, then raced over to me as if we were old friends who hadn't seen each other in a while. I had already hunkered down to bring myself to her level, and held out an open hand for her to sniff. She ignored my hand and went straight for my lap so she could lick me! I laughed at her friendly antics! The older woman came up to us and scolded her dog, Penny, for jumping on me. She told me normally Penny behaved herself better, she'd never seen her do such a thing. Meanwhile, Penny was licking my arm enthusiastically and wagging her whole back end. I smiled at the woman and introduced myself, and finished by saying I would guess it was safe to say Penny and I were buddies for life! I ended up becoming friends with the lady too, and I feel truly blessed by such a pair of companions. :-)
