The sunhelm 💙

She is a perfect dog. 💙 I have been so lucky to know her. I am afraid we will have to say goodbye soon.

I really am not ready but I know what friends I can ask to be with us. Lucy is very loved.

She is well for now, but there are hints and I hope I've given her a life where she feels healthy, safe, happy, loved and tired at the end of the day.

I have taken her for granted and I am trying to honour her every day.

@Bexsy she is very special. She is the type of dog that just likes to be "about", and always in the same room as me, but not necessarily close even if we're on the same piece of furniture.

But she cuddles up when she wants to, and tries to always tell me what she wants.

Lately she has been asking for something I can't figure out. I'm worried she's in pain or just confused. But she whines every night at the same time and I can't help her until she decides to rest

If there's anything I've picked up about you it's the love and quality of life you give to the little critters and creatures around you. I have no doubt you've given Lucy all the comfort you could give. Animals really are precious. So are you for caring so deeply about them💙
