One day I’ll be able to walk my two 30kg dogs at the same time

Today is probably not that day. Individually they are great on the lead and so well behaved. If I try to walk them together they go completely nuts and forget all their manners and together they are hard for me to wrangle. I always feel guilty leaving one of them behind though.

Have you tried walking your dogs using a Halti lead?

@justanothername Yeah I’ve used them in the past. They do work. It’s just they won’t teach them not to pull they just stop them being able to pull. I’ve made good progress with them individually, they are still quite young. I think it’s just a matter of short tight lead stopping every time they get over excited until they settle. It’s just hard going cause they are so strong. I’ve got a new split lead that I’m hoping won’t tangle as easily.

@justanothername My dogs aren’t aggressive. I previously had a rescue who could be and needed the halti.
