Hey all! Snickers the big frisky Saint Bernard here barking that this heat is just unbearable! I mean, for a sneaker monster of my size, I have to wear a pretty big fur coat all year round. Phew!!!
Well, I finally decided I had about enough of outside and trotted back to the house for some cool AC. I no sooner got in the door when I caught Mommy off guard in the living room. I wandered in to see what she was doing. Mmmmmmmm what is this????!!!
Oooooohhhhh I went completely NUTSO!!! As Mommy explained that she just got 3 new pairs of Nike sneakers and was trying them on, I lost all control and sniffing and licked the one she was wearing sockless voraciously:
All that soft squishy white leather just smelled and tasted so yummy and I could feel mommy wiggling her toes inside it as I nibbled hungrily. My eyes rolled back in pure ecstasy and slobber ran everywhere. I was just starting to get really naughty when mommy pulled her yummy new Nike sneaker away. She said she had to get going because she was visiting with her friend Carol, and if I didn’t behave, she would wear her new Nikes over there. OH NO!!!! Carol has a big kennel and rescues and breeds Bloodhounds. She has a bunch of them:
They are always rowdy and excited and all visitors shoes are fair game for them. As I whined and pouted, mommy said it would be a shame if she had to wear her new Nikes inside their kennel and let all 8 Bloodhounds chew on them. Especially Red:
He would eat them right off her feet in no time and spend hours licking them inside out. Ok so now I have to be on my best behavior until mommy cools off. GULP! I hope I can do it!!
