Dedicated loyal doggo

In October 2017, during the devastating Tubbs Fire in California, a Great Pyrenees dog named Odin refused to leave his herd of goats behind as his owners fled to safety. Despite the intense flames and smoke, Odin remained with the goats, ensuring their safety. When his owners returned to their property days later, they found Odin and all eight goats alive and well. Remarkably, Odin had also protected several baby deer that had joined the herd during the crisis. He suffered minor injuries, including singed fur and limping from burned paw pads, but his dedication saved the animals.

Odin's story became a symbol of loyalty and bravery, capturing hearts worldwide. His actions during the Tubbs Fire highlight the profound bond between animals and their human companions, as well as the incredible instincts and protective nature of dogs.
