Will the mastiff be OK?

My brother has a 250 pound English mastiff, I haven’t been around this dog too much, but I’m curious how similar his dog would be to mine? I have a toy Chihuahua who loves aggressive play. Will my brother’s dog be able to handle the Chihuahua? She can really be quite dominating in terms of strength and temperament when playing. she is a very very sweet dog but when she plays she loves to play like rough and tumble. And she honestly can really stand her own ground. My girl is pretty vicious (she is just playing).

For example when she has a rawhide in her mouth we know not to mess with her, and when she has a chew toy she absolutely obliterate it, throwing the toy across the room with stuffing everywhere. She really can hold her own, don’t even get me started when she plays tug with other dogs.

Also why are people saying that the mastiff could easily hurt or kill my dog? Couldn’t she do the same to him? I really mean it, she can hold her own ground and let other dogs know that she needs business.

I think you must be a troll, a comedienne, or have...issues.

250# dog v. what? a 7# dog?

Lots of little dogs "mean business" but the mastiff weighs ~35 times what your dog likely weighs.
@SomeMichGuy she does mean business. I have seen her hold her ground and put other dogs in their place. And she’s actually pretty strong, she likes to play those tug games and she really goes all in. So I’m not just saying that, I really mean that she’s pretty vicious

@SomeMichGuy but what I’m saying is that I have literally seen my dog do some pretty good damage. I have seen my dog dominate in those tug games, I have seen her absolutely shred a chew toy and flicking it all over the room. So I’m not just making myself think that, I have seen her in action. She knows how to take of herself. If it really came down to it I’m sure she would be fine. And again when she has a rawhide you do not want to mess with her, she is in the “rip your head off” mode. Again she’s a very very very sweet dog but that’s just how she is when she’s eating
@Cuzzzzinkaty And again, you argue.

You are at the age when you can be told nothing, because you already think you know it all. Contact me in 10 yrs.

I hope your dog is ok. If she were MINE, I'd very carefully check things out.

But for now, I'm out...and turning off notifications.
