My bad doggie

@Lostpoet no i let him in the yard when he needs to go outside. Then he sometimes takes off when i am bringing him back inside. At that point yes i let him run wild because believe me you are not going to catch him till he is ready to be caught. It might be 30 minutes or 3 hours. He will come check in on you periodically but until he is ready to come home it isnt happening. When he gets tired he will come back to the gate and bark. And then i go outside again with his leash and bring him back inside.

@invisiblewoman I think that's the best way to do it and as long as your neighbors know that he is friendly they probably don't care if he runs in their yard.

@Lostpoet my neighbors dont care. They used to chase him too but now they just call to ask me if i know he is loose and i always know. He doesnt bother them or their animals so they leave him alone.
