Hey good evening all! Snickers the Saint Bernard here barking that apparently nothing in life is ever easy. I’m just a dog trying to make it in this world and it seems that despite trying to keep my nose clean, it always ends up in the wrong place! Well, Mommy is away again. I guess work is extremely stressful right now and she is needed in 100 different places at once. So Aunty Margo is at the house for the next few days. Well, I was outside in the backyard this morning when she arrived:
After a few minutes, I heard Mommy drive away. Finally I finished my business and I decided to go in and see Aunty. Well, I get inside and almost have a seizure when I trot into the livingroom:
Ooooohhhhhhh yuuummmm!!!! On Aunty’s feet were brand brand new soft white leather Reebok sneakers and I went completely nutso! Aunty held one up to my mouth and asked if I wanted a taste. I pounced immediately but then stopped. I remembered the deal I made with Mommy about being on my best behavior. Aunty asked what was the matter, and said she even set out my favorite blankie to lay on while I chewed on them. Nope nope nope! Not gonna cave in! She wiggled her foot in front of my mouth and I finally pressed my nose into her yummy new Reebok and sniffed wildly:
So while Aunty watched the TV thingy, I rolled around at her feet and sniffed her Reeboks:
After a while of intense sniffing, I tugged one of her Reeboks off with my toofers. Aunty laughed as I completely buried my snout and face inside it:
It was soooo hot and moist and delicious inside and I just couldn’t help myself and pretty soon I was growling as I crammed my slimy tongue waaaaaay in and licked hungrily. Aunty quickly grabbed her Reebok away and as I pulled my snout out, long trails of warm slimy bubbly slobber followed. Aunty said she heard about my “deal” with Mommy and said it would be a shame if she had to give all her new sneakers to the evil bloodhounds. GULP! I HOPE NOT!!!! So I continued just sniffing. Well, I just went outside one last time for the night and came back inside to this:
Oooooh Aunty went upstairs to read in bed and left her juicy new Reeboks on the blankie for me in the livingroom! They are just sooooo delicious and irresistible and I would looooove to eat them all up for naughty doggy dessert all night long! I just can’t stop drooling:
Aunty just hollered down and said maybe she would let me play fetch in the pool with the Reeboks tomorrow if they last thru the night. Well all I can bark is the Aunty is being a MAJOR tease today! She’s trying to get me into trouble and I’m running out of willpower quick! YIKES!
