Good evening all! Snickers the Saint Bernard here barking that boy oh boy was it a hot one today! Sooooo glad Mommy spent her moneys and bought us a pool! In fact, this afternoon I got to have the most A-MAZING pool party!
So Aunty and I were chilling at my house today on the deck while she doggysits, when there was a knock on the door. Aunty’s friend from her basketball league stopped by to meet me and use the pool with Aunty. Everyone, meet Jess:
Well, while Aunty introduced me, I couldn’t resist having a taste of what she had on her feet:
New new NEW Nike sneakers! It was a scorcher out and they were so hot and moist and she was wearing them sockless. As she petted me, I nibbled on them hungrily. Jess has a couple dogs and apparently the Nikes were completely off limits to them. Well, Aunty told her about my crazy sneaker fetish and how I would love to play fetch in the pool with them. Jess thought it was hilarious, but agreed as the pool looked very tempting to jump into. Well, in no time her clothes were off and she was ready to jump in:
She slipped her new Nikes back on and got into the pool:
I jumped right in after, followed by Aunty. Jess splashed around with her new Nikes on while I chased her around. Eventually she took them off and threw them around and I would dive and fetch them in my mouth and chew them. Sooooo squeaky and squishy! C’mon Jess, throw them already!:
After a while of continuous fetching, I took a rest and chewed on them under the bench on the pool deck:
Aunty Margo took them and hung them up to dry, but I quickly grabbed them and took them to a nice spot in the shade in the backyard to enjoy:
I ate them hungrily while Aunty Margo and Jess enjoyed the pool. Well, later on as Jess was getting ready to leave, I noticed that she was wearing a pair of Aunty’s yummy basketball sneakers:
Now Aunty is SUPER stingy with them and won’t even let me near them. Not Jess, she let me have a taste of each one. She said since they are for basketball, we would call it a “double dribble”:
Well, I gotta say that I really like Aunty’s Margo’s friend. She’s totally cool and I hope when Mommy gets back she can come over and visit again!
